CFP Announcement

The Call For Proposals for the fourth annual Quantum Ten International Educational Conference is now open! The conference will be held in person in sunny California at the Los Angeles National University campus from December 10-12, 2025. We are planning a pre-session on Dec. 10th. We invite you to join us at the pre-session to learn more about the Q10! We will offer virtual and asynchronous sessions for our international audience and for those who cannot attend in person. Proposals are due by Monday, May 20, 2025.

Description of Q10

The Quantum 10 (Q10) is a fusion of 10 different theories, frameworks, and practices that together focus on enhancing educational equity. Each can stand alone, however, when they are integrated, they create a strong synergy that can go far beyond their individual potential and become an empowering, holistic approach to addressing systemic inequities in education.

Purpose of the conference

The purpose of the Quantum Ten (Q10) conference is to expand upon understanding of the Quantum Ten (Q10) theories, frameworks, and practices and elevate every perspective This conference strives to transform practice by taking an action-oriented approach to intentionally integrating the elements of the Q10 framework and cultivating inviting all voices to the table. Presentations should advance participants’ knowledge of the integration of the Q10 elements to cultivate a sense of belonging and systematically sustain equity in our learning communities.

Submissions will be accepted in the form of written proposals or any multimedia (e.g., an audio or video recording provided as a URL).

The 6 Phases of the Continuum

Traditional presentation (up to 1 hour)

A theoretical talk or presentation of your research followed by a question-and-answer period

Poster Presentation (live for up to 10 minutes)

All poster presenters will be in one room and present individually, one after the other, for a maximum of 10 minutes each

Panel Presentation/Discussion (1 hour sessions)

Presentation as a part of a larger panel with other presenters on a similar topic

Workshop (1-2 hour sessions)

A highly interactive session where participants will learn a pedagogical skill or strategy

Flipped classroom session (1-2 hour sessions)

Sessions where participants will be expected to engage with selected material before the session and then complete problem-based or project-based learning in the session
