About the Conference

For the past five years, the Quantum Ten (10) Educational International Conference has evolved from a conversation about equity in education to an action-driven movement that sustains change, cultivates belonging, and centers the heart of learning.

This year, we invite educators, leaders, and changemakers to reimagine education—not just as a system, but as a force for empowerment and transformation.

Empowering Community Partnerships: Reimagining Family Engagement

This strand explores how to move beyond simply “welcoming” families and communities to actively empowering them as true partners in the educational process. Sessions will focus on strategies for co-creating learning experiences, amplifying diverse voices, and building reciprocal relationships that drive systemic change and transform the educational landscape for all students. We will examine how to leverage the expertise and lived experiences of families and community members to enrich learning and create truly inclusive educational environments.

Transforming Learning: Co-creating Engaging and Equitable Experiences

This strand delves into the transformative power of collaborative learning design. Sessions will showcase innovative approaches to co-creating engaging and equitable learning experiences that foster academic growth, social-emotional well-being, and a sense of belonging for all students. We will explore how educators, students, and partners can work together to reimagine learning environments and empower students to become active agents in their own education.

Building a Just Future: Reimagining Education for Equity and Empowerment

This strand examines how education can be a catalyst for social justice and equity. Sessions will explore strategies for dismantling systemic barriers, fostering inclusive learning environments, and empowering students to become advocates for change. We will investigate how to reimagine education as a tool for liberation, ensuring that all students have the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential.

Leading Transformation: Adaptive Leadership for Reimagining Education

This strand focuses on the critical role of adaptive leadership in driving transformative change in education. Sessions will explore how educators, administrators, and partners can develop the skills and mindsets needed to navigate complex challenges, foster innovation, and implement intentional solutions that create more equitable and empowering educational systems. We will examine how to reimagine leadership as a collaborative process, empowering individuals at all levels to contribute to positive change.

Footsteps to Freedom: Inspiring Action and Leading Change

Building on the powerful experience of the Footsteps to Freedom Underground Railroad Study Tour, this strand focuses on translating learning into action. Sessions will guide educators in integrating Q10 and the Core Four into their practice, refining leadership skills, and developing concrete strategies for driving change within their communities. This strand empowers participants to become agents of transformation, reimagining education through the lens of history and social justice
